Terms and Conditions

  1. Fly from KL to Tokyo Campaign ("Campaign") is organized by Tokyo Convention & Visitors Bureau (TCVB) and All Nippon Airways Co.,Ltd. (ANA Malaysia) ("Organizer").

  2. The Campaign will be held from 26th August 2019, 10:00 (GMT +8) and ends 23:59 (GMT +8) on 25th October 2019 (“Campaign Period”).

  3. Winner will be selected at the end of the Campaign Period as below:

    • One (1) Grand Prize Winner (One return ticket of ANA Flight Ticket from Kuala Lumpur - Tokyo (Haneda/ Narita) - Kuala Lumpur, Economy Class

    • Three (3) Consolation Prize Winners (Maneki- Neko)

    • Five (5) Consolation Prize Winners (Tokyo Tokyo T-shirt)

    • Ten (10) Consolation Prize Winners (Tenugui Hand Towel)

    For Grand Prize Winner:

    1. Ticket is not exchangeable for cash, non-transferable, non-endorsable, non-reroutable and non-refundable under any circumstances.

    2. Prize winner’s name change is not allowed and prize winner must travel.

    3. Ticket is not applicable on code-share flights.

    4. Seat is subject to availability.

    5. Booking Class: X [Ticket must be booked in designated booking class].

    6. Upgrading using mileage is not allowed.

    7. Ticket is excluding applicable taxes and surcharges. Applicable taxes and surcharges to be paid fully by prize winner and payable by cash only.

    8. Ticket is valid on flight date shown. Date and/or Name change is not permitted.

    9. Travel period: 01 Nov’2019 - 31 Mar’2020 [based on departure date from Kuala Lumpur].

    10. Ticket is valid for 14 days from date of departure from Kuala Lumpur.

    11. Embargo Dates for Ex-Kuala Lumpur : 23Nov’2019 to 05Jan’2020, 24Jan’2020 to 28Jan’2020 and 14Mar’2020 to 22Mar’2020.

    12. Applicable Flights: NH886/NH885 or NH816/NH815

    13. Booking must be made at least 3 weeks before departure from Kuala Lumpur for travel. [based on departure date from Kuala Lumpur].

    14. Prize not claim after 16Mar’2020 shall be forfeited. No extension of validity under any circumstances is allowed.

    15. Changes are not permitted, once booking is confirmed.

    16. All passports and visas must be valid for at least six [6] months from the date to entry into the destined country or countries of destination. The prize winner is responsible for obtaining the necessary visa required for the travel

    For Consolation Prize Winners:

    1. Winner will be contacted by agency/ Person In –charge of Organizer. For further detail about how to redeem, product details or any clarification shall be liaised during the email conversation.

    2. The winners are not allowed to choose either color or pattern of the prize, all prize will be given to winner based on available color and pattern from Organizer.

  4. Entry to the Campaign is free of charge and the Campaign is open to anyone who is at least eighteen (18) years old on the date of entry (“Participants”) and only for Malaysian who living in Malaysia except for the following:

    1. Permanent and/or temporary staff or employees of Tokyo Convention & Visitors Bureau (TCVB) or any representative office around the world. and its immediate family members;

    2. Representatives and/or agents (including advertising & promotion) of Tokyo Convention & Visitors Bureau (TCVB) or other representative office of Tokyo Convention & Visitors Bureau around the world.

  5. Winners will be announced in Nov’2019 or any other date deemed fit by the Organizer on the winning Facebook submission.

  6. To qualify for the Campaign, Participants will have to do the following:


    1. All details of the campaign mechanism will be demonstrated on the second page on Tokyo Tokyo Old Meets New Facebook Game Page.

    2. Like Tokyo Tokyo Old meets New Facebook page:

    3. Complete 3 Mini Games in shortest time.

    4. Fill up personal information, slogan on the final page.

    5. Only entries in English language shall be accepted.

  7. All player entry needs completed and recorded by 23:59 (GMT+8) on 25th October 2019. Late entries will not be entertained.

  8. Participants are allowed to submit multiple entries; however, ONLY THE FIRST ENTRY will use as final score and result, participants will only be allowed to win once throughout the Campaign Period.

  9. Only Participants that fulfil the Campaign Mechanism as stated above shall be eligible to win the prize. Incomplete entries and/or Participants who failed to fulfil the Campaign Mechanisms will automatically be disqualified from the Campaign without any notice.

  10. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any entry by Participants which are deemed to contain offensive, inappropriate and/or obscene elements. Such entries will be disqualified immediately.

  11. By participating in the Campaign, it is deemed that the Participants agrees to be bound by the Terms and subject to the Conditions herein set out upon submission of entry and are deemed to give their consent for personal information which is govern by our Privacy Policy which is available at HERE

  12. The Organizer reserves its right to vary, delete or add to any of these Terms and Conditions and/or substitute or change or replace the gifts from time to time without any prior notice.

  13. The winner will be selected based on the fastest finished time and creativity/ uniqueness based on slogan “ I Love Tokyo because.." of the entry by a panel of judges appointed by the Organizer.

  14. The selected winners will be contacted, at any time deemed appropriate by the Organizer, via email or any other mode of communication deemed appropriate by the Organizer. If the selected winner is not responding to the email/ phone call from Organizer after 1 week from the date of winner announcement shall be forfeited. No further appeal, enquiry and/or complaint from any Participants will be entertained.

  15. The decisions of the Organizer in relation to every aspect of the Campaign including but not limited to the type of prize and winners shall be deemed final and conclusive under any circumstance and no further appeal, enquiry and/or complaint from any Participants will be entertained.

  16. The winners are bound by the Terms and Conditions that come with the Prizes. The acceptance of Prizes indicates the acknowledgment and agreement of such terms and conditions.

  17. The prize is not exchangeable and/or refundable by cash or any other benefit in kind. Failure to accept and collect the prize by the winners once informed via the mode of communication mentioned above when required to do so shall constitute a rejection by the winners and the Organizer reserves it rights to award the prize to other winner. Any cancellation and/ or refund request once the booking of the prize has been made is strictly not allowed.

  18. Subject to these Rules, the prize is not transferable and may not be utilized by the winner’s family and/or friends.

  19. The Organizer reserves its rights to publish or display materials or information, including but not limited to the names of all Participants for marketing, advertising and publicity purposes in any manner it deems appropriate. The Organizer further reserves its right to use any personal data of Participants in any manner and/or for any purpose it deems fit and the Participants are deemed to consent to such use by participating in the Campaign with no monetary payment whatsoever.

  20. The Organizer reserves its right to cancel, terminate or suspend the Contest with or without any prior notice and reason. For the avoidance of doubt, cancellation, termination or suspension by the Organizer shall not entitle the Participants to any claim or compensation against the Organizer for any and all losses or damages suffered or incurred as a direct or indirect result of the act of cancellation, termination or suspension.

  21. The Terms and Conditions herein shall prevail over any inconsistent terms, conditions, provisions or representations contained in any other promotional or advertising materials for the Campaign.

  22. All other expenses associated with this contest but not mentioned herein such as any other transportation, accommodation, food, shall be solely borne by the Campaign winners. Compliance with any health or other government requirements is the responsibility of the prize-winners and companion, if applicable.

  23. Valid travelling documentation/cost shall be solely borne by and is the responsibility of the winners.

  24. Organizer retains the right to substitute the prize with another of similar value in the event the original prize offered is not available due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

  25. The prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if the winner is unable to use the prize as stated.

  26. Participants and the Winners shall not hold Organizer liable for the outcome of the Campaign or any period during the trip.

  27. The Prize does not include anything not listed above including but not limited to: accommodation, travel insurance, passports, visas, ground transportation or any other costs of a personal nature not stated.

  28. The Organizer shall bear no responsibility for any damage, loss (including but not limited to direct, indirect and consequential loss), liability, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by the Winner or their guest in connection with this Campaign or the execution of the Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
